Become a Contributor
So you want to help contribute to What We’re Playing?
We are currently looking for a few more contributors, that is true. However, not everyone can contribute to our site. Blogging every couple of days is actually harder then it sounds and anyone who has been blogging can testify to that. If you want to join our staff and contribute on a regular basis, please make sure you are willing to put forth the time, and energy required to contribute to our site. We don’t mean to sound round or push you away from contributing to our site but we’re merely trying to warn you upfront.
We are trying to get a lot more contributors to post regularly to improve our site’s post quantity but not diminish our post quality. We want people who have a solid understanding of the English language, who enjoy the same “hobbies” that we enjoy and, most importantly, are not “copy-paste” journalists that a lot of sites have on their staff. Another thing you have to consider is that What Were Playing is an article based site. What that means is here at What Were Playing, we write articles. We don’t write short, few sentence, summaries. We write multiple paragraphs about our chosen topics and go into, for the most part, detail. Please keep that in mind if you wish to apply.
Everyone who is easily qualified may apply to contribute. If you think you qualify and want to put in the time and energy then you can e-mail us at contact@whatwereplaying.com, or use the contact form found on our contact page. If you contact us, please include the following:
- Your Full Name
- Your Nickname
- Your E-Mail
- Your Age (18 Minimum)
- Why you want to Contribute?
- Where you live? (Country and City)
- A Brief Description of Yourself
- A Small Writing Sample
I know it may seem like a lot but that’s it! We look forward to hearing from you and we should get back to you within a week.
