Welcome to the League of Legends Tournament!
Here you will find all the information you need to sign up for and participate in What We’re Playing’s first gaming tournament. The game used in this tournament will be, of course, League of Legends. This tournament was set up to help promote our website and increase our traffic flow. We also set up the tournament to give some friendly gamers a chance to join together and have a good time.
The tournament has several rules and regulations that must be followed and they are;
- To enter you must sign up for an account here at What We’re Playing, a guide is located HERE to help you do so.
- The prize will be a 10$ online gift certificate to Game Stop for each member of the winning team.
- Everybody must make a NEW League of Legends account for the tournament and the only champions allowed will be the current free champions. This is to create an even playing ground.
- It’s a single elimination tournament between 8 teams of 3 for a total of 24 players.
- You can enter as a premade team, or as an individual to be randomly placed in a team. Individuals are not guaranteed entry if not enough individuals sign up.
- You can sign up at any time. The tournament will start one week after we have a reasonable number of teams. We’re aiming for 24 players, but if more people want to play we’ll make room.

To sign up just go to our contact page and in the comments section please include your name, League of Legends account name, What We’re Playing username, if you’re entering as a team or free agent, and if you’re entering as a team please include your team members accounts and e-mails.

I’m in GMT+2 timezone but still play on the American server, can I get an indication of what sort of times you are intending to run the games? Is it flexible?

Right now the times are flexible. When all of the teams are registered I will send out an e-mail to all of them individually and get everyone’s timezones. From that data I will set a date and time. The day will most likely be a weekend to make scheduling easier.
Feel free to sign up with your team or by yourself.

That’s fine shadowslice, they will most likely be on a weekend for convenience.
Go over to the League of Legends form to try and get some more people signing up. We still need a team or two before we can run the tournament.

I’m aware of that. I’m using your WWP accounts on the site in order to make sure that everyone receives credit for participating in the tournament for future tournaments. It is also easier to keep track of who is who from our end.
Your names will be released to the other teams before we start the tournament, which we are still waiting on two teams for.

Charlie I am sorry to inform you that the teams have been selected and will be announced shortly. There will be another tournament in a month or so that I will announce on the League of Legends Website again and best of luck entering that tournament.
