Hiro Mashima is finally getting the characters back into some action and after a lot of running around. It seems that Erza and Gray, due to some convenient and partly unexplained plot device, have joined the fight. Erza is now locked in battle with the Erza of Edras who wields a magic spear called ‘The ten commandments’, (another little reference to Rave Master thrown in too).
I think one of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind in previous chapters was ‘Who the hell is Mystogan?!’ The second question being ‘But who is he REALLY?’ At least now we all know he is Gerard’s ‘other’ from Edras and our heroes seem to owe him quite a lot as of late so I guess the question now has moved onto ‘why is he helping them?’
All in all, the past couple of chapters have been good with all the typical quirks you’d expect because no part of Fairy Tail’s story is totally complete without Gray unconsciously trying to get naked, Lucy showing off half her cleavage, Erza’s never-ending wardrobe of revealing armour and Natsu suffering from some form of motion sickness only to recover and dish out some intense threats. Honestly, I can understand to a certain degree why there has been some debate about Fairy Tail bordering on the lines of Ecchi.

I want this! I was never a huge fan of the Monster Hunter series but the recent Monster Hunter for PSP grabbed my interest for a while. I got a copy of it and played it for some time but the biggest problem with the game was the online. You either had to be in the same room with a person and their PSP or go online with a PS3. So I, eventually, got a PS3 from my girlfriend for Christmas and I used it to play Monster Hunter for the PSP online… It was bad… really bad… Either the connections were horrible or the experience was horrible. No one was playing or they were all too high level… But I loved the gameplay! The online was just so bad and fighting together is a major aspect of Monster Hunter.
Enough of the PSP game though, how is this new Wii game measuring up to the Monster Hunter world? Now I don’t have this game for my Wii and for only one reason, I’m not in America right now and don’t want to pay the import costs. This is on the top of my list to get when I return home though and I think it’s right that I mention it here because I have been hearing nothing but good things about this game! I have heard this from both Monster Hunter Fans and people who have never heard of Monster Hunter before. I even heard from a friend that his grandfather loved this game.

Yeah he is that bad-ass.
It has finally happened!!! I have been waiting for this episode for months, maybe even a year now! For those who don’t know, all of the Jump Comic Anime Renditions like to go into Filler Arcs often and for long periods of time. Naruto, actually, just got out of a long filler arc and back on the Manga track. This is a good thing, a very good thing.
When Naruto left off making episodes they were at a very crucial and very exciting time in the Manga. When Naruto learns to master Sage Mode and fights the greatest battle in the entire series! And now, after months and months of wait, the battle has began! In this episode Pain, leader of Akasuki, has started his full on attack of Konoha Village in search for Naruto. Naruto is off finishing his training and about to be summoned back to the Village for a full on battle. But before that happens they are going to show some of the lesser characters fight and some really unknown characters get some screen time. This is really exciting actually because they bring back a lot of other characters you typically don’t see and you get to see them fight!

The epic war is over, so now it’s time for some slower fallout chapters.
Luffy is a typical too-stupid-to-be-sad main character, so it’s odd to see him grieving like this. I just hope this doesn’t become Luffy’s emo phase, we have enough of that in other comics. Being depressed doesn’t fit Luffy very well. Ivankov is off to keep Sanji company in kamabakka (Lucky him!), so it’s up to Jimbei to cheer Luffy up. But before that happens, we have some flashbacks to get to.
We finally get to see who Dadan is: an ugly hag who’s the head of a crew of Bandits. Why Garp left the son of Dragon the Revolutionary and the son of Gol D Roger to be raised by bandits is beyond me; doesn’t he want them to grow up as marines? It seems like an odd choice. Either way, we’re probably going to see more about Dadan and a final farewell to Ace when the next chapter shows Luffy’s childhood.
Where do things go after that? Well, the crew still has to power up and reunite, and then it’s into the shaken up new world to compete with all of the Supernovas. Luffy still has a couple of crewmates left to recruit, before he finds One Piece, though. I wonder if he’ll recruit Hancock? The potential interactions with the crew would be endless. It would be pretty funny to see her punt around Chopper like she does kittens, and constantly turn Sanji to stone for flirting with her and Brook into stone for asking to see her panties. Add in Nami being jealous of her beauty and you’d have constant fireworks.

For the most part, this is a chapter for Naruto to act like a goofy idiot for our amusement, but learning to control the Kyuubi is a major development nonetheless.
Typical Naruto: he fails to convince Bee to teach him, then actually succeeds somehow by asking him with a terrible rap, but ruins everything by insulting him and tops it off with Harem no Jutsu! But it’s not very effective… you should’ve known dude, you’re a 15-year-old boy. You’re probably going to have a hard time seducing people.
Naruto eventually convinces Bee’s friend to train him by giving him the FIST BUMP~! Fist bumps solve everything, even attacks by giant gorillas.
The chapter ends with naruto fighting his evil doppelganger. He’s been through so many tough things, but he’s largely remained a happy-go-lucky idiot. It seems like he needs to face this part of himself instead of ignoring it in order to have true control over his aggression and draw on the Kyuubi’s power while keeping out its murderous intent. We’ll see if he pulls it off: he’s a very quick learner for an idiot, so he might get this down this pretty fast. Well, on the other hand, he’ll have to learn it just slow enough to stall for a few chapters.

What an odd chapter.
Aizen apparently went from being an untouchable god to getting kicked around by Isshin easily, so here comes his powerup. We can’t have Aizen looking less-than-invincible for long, after all. So the big Hougyouku reveal is here: it’s not just a device to fuse shinigami and hollows, it’s a magic lamp you don’t even have to rub. Or touch. Or be aware of your own wishes. Apparently it senses the wishes of hearts and grants them.
That’s why Ichigo is so powerful, why Urahara managed to save the Vizards so long ago, and why Ichigo’s friends gained powers. Unfortunately, this isn’t the sort of reveal where I go back and think “It all makes sense now!”. No, instead I’m thinking “I’m confused!” I have no idea what makes it grant or not grant various wishes, or which sorts of wishes it can grant, or how well it grants them, or how far you have to be from it for it to work, or how many wishes one person gets, or anything else. Talk about Deus Ex Machina. Everyone is strong for the same reason, so why is Chad powered only enough to lose horribly? Was his wish not a strong one? What happens if somebody wishes in their heart for Aizen to disappear or the power to defeat him? It just doesn’t make much sense to me without hearing some rules.
A true magic lamp would be easy for me to grasp: you can always tell when somebody is making a wish and what the rules are. Instead, I have no idea what’s going on. The chapter ends with the creator of the Hougyouku showing up, so maybe we’ll get some answers, but Aizen made it sound as though Urahara doesn’t know what’s going on himself. Just when Aizen is going to give us some answers and implies he’s going to destroy the barrier between Soul Society and Earth, Urahara pops out of nowhere and impales him. Let him finish his speech already so we can be done with this insanely long battle! Come on people, stop interrupting the man!

One of the coolest things about Hunter x Hunter is that it’s hard to predict how each arc will end. Rarely does the main character simply undergo a generic power up and defeat the main bad guy.Well, this time there is a power up and some ass-kickery as the arc draws to a close, but certainly not a generic one. Who exactly could have predicted this?
We finally get to see the end result of this new “Dark Gon”. The chapter start’s with that Terpischore ability again. We still don’t know what it does exactly, just that it activates quickly and is apparently named after one of the nine muses, a dancer. It appears Neflpitou could use it to manipulate himself like a puppet. Gon is still completely in Pitou’s head, but Pitou’s had enough of it and finally tries to kill him for the sake of the king. Now that Pufu tricked Pitou into believing that Komugi was safe, what’s to stop Pitou from doing it? Well, Gon for one. It looks like Pitou’s fears were valid all along: Gon is now on a whole new level.

Hey everyone out there in the internet. Thought I would comment/write a mini-review of the new movie Kick-Ass. Now for those of you who don’t know me, I am a very large comic book fan and, for the most part, like all movie renditions. Now there are degrees to me liking a comic book movie, everything from “That was a great movie!” to “I liked it because it had my favorite character in it.”
Kick-Ass, thankfully, falls into the “I really liked that as a movie and a comic book rendition.” category. I say thankfully because if anyone has seen the trailer for Kick-Ass it is… very unique. The movie was great though! I will try to stay away from spoiling anything but I will be talking about the general plot of the movie, so if you haven’t seen it and don’t want to know anything about it before you see it then don’t read this. But I do promise I won’t ruin anything for you.

Hey everyone, guess its time to give a World of Warcraft Update.
First I guess I should explain my characters, I have a couple 80s and a 75ish, with a lot of lower levels (45ish). My current main toon is Beoulve, an 80 Paladin, on the Scarlet Crusade Server. You can check him out on the WoW Armory. I do a lot of PvP, Arena and Raids with him, although I just started getting into Raids. I have Duel Spec but gear for all three specs. I have a nice Tanking Spec and Set that is at Ice Crown Citadel Level and I have both Healing and DPS PvP Sets.
So what is going to be in these WoW Updates? I plan on updating you about my characters raid progression, their good and bad PvP Sessions, as well as my Arena Teams. In regards to Arena I am currently running 2v2 with a Warlock friend of mine but we also switch to his Druid. For 3v3 I just started running Hunter, Druid and me healing. As well as updating you on all this I will throw up pictures of in-game stuff and hopefully give you some good pointers on how to survive Ice Crown Citadel and maybe even a guide or two on making some gold.

It took about four days for designing and photoshop work, another two weeks for coding and layout tweaking, about four cans of extra large mountain dew and some sleepless nights but it was all worth it. What We’re Playing is now fully functional. We will have to work hard now to fill all these blank pages with some content but that is actually the easy part. We have a staff of talented and spirited writers all ready to type away.
For your convenience we have broken down all the post into five categories; Anime, Gaming, Manga, Movies, Movies, and Site Related. This should help any of you find exactly what you’re looking for when you come to read.
